I was part of an interactive panel of experts from industry and academia at GreenNet 2024, the third Green and Sustainable Networking workshop, held as part of the IEEE International Conference on Communications (ICC 2024) in Denver, 9 to 13 June 2024.
The workshop looked at how networks, from today’s 5G to future 6G, can cut their energy use and carbon footprint while still meeting performance demands. The panel asked how to achieve energy-efficient and sustainable networking in a 6G age.
