A panel at Chief Disruptor LIVE, a one-day event for business and technology leaders in London. I was on the panel with Matt Phillips (at the time Scott Logic’s COO) and Neill Smith (Head of Infrastructure, The Scottish Government).
The panel asked whether businesses are sleepwalking into foreseeable but unexplored consequences of disruptive technologies, drawing parallels with Big Tech’s forays into cloud and open source. It focused on the medium- and long-term impact of generative AI and how leaders should rethink their AI strategies to manage the new risks.
