Tanium Briefing at the US Embassy in Helsinki, Finland

Briefing at the US Embassy in Helsinki

One of the Nordic legs of the series of talks I gave at US embassies and ambassadors’ residences across EMEA as Tanium’s Chief Architect, in person again after the pandemic. The embassy overlooks the sea and nearby islands, which made it hard not to be distracted by the view during the event. One slide asked “Data vs opinion?”, contrasting manual, hard-to-scale IT management and questionnaire-driven, check-box risk and audit with real-time visibility, integrated platforms and data-driven risk and audit. I wrote about the trip, and returning to Helsinki after more than 20 years, in Arabian Insights & Nordic Nostalgia. The day before, I’d presented in Copenhagen.
