A keynote at IASA’s online BIL-T (Business, Innovation, Leadership and Technology) web summit in July 2020, a few months into the pandemic.
The world was changing faster than organisations could keep up with even before COVID-19, and the pandemic forced digital business to accelerate out of necessity. It also reconnected many people with the natural world. The talk argued that sustainable digital business is no longer a nice-to-have, and that architects need to help their organisations adapt quickly, and keep adapting, while moving towards being sustainable organisations.
The recording above is from the Architect Tomorrow channel. I gave a version of the same talk at the BCS SM-ITAM annual conference that October, and in November I moderated a panel on the UN Sustainable Development Goals at the BIL-T Architecture for Global Good summit.
