A filmed roundtable at The Studio, HotTopics’ recording space for technology leaders, in a Building Tomorrow’s Enterprise series that HotTopics produced in partnership with Tanium. I joined Paul Coby (CIO, Johnson Matthey), Juan Villamil (CIO, Department for Work and Pensions, at the time of filming) and data architect Fergus Boyd.
Across five parts we discussed how established businesses can grow to compete with digitally native start-ups, how to balance DevOps with the governance it needs to work securely, what real-time technologies mean for governance, the role of technology in building tomorrow’s enterprise, and whether traditional governance is fit for purpose in a transformation. HotTopics also cut short clips of me on IT’s biggest irony, on whether the CTO is the new CEO-in-waiting, and on treating innovation labs with caution.
The same series had a second roundtable with another group of CIOs and CTOs.
