The 2019 annual lecture for the BCS Configuration Management Specialist Group, after its AGM, a few weeks after I joined Tanium as Chief IT Architect for EMEA. The evening sold out.
I gave the group a sneak preview of “The Visibility Gap”, Tanium’s annual global research into the biggest challenges facing IT departments, which found that the biggest issue was a lack of visibility and control, before it was published that November. I then led an interactive discussion of the group’s own challenges with IT visibility and with integrating the CMDB with other systems.
